The Team 

Meet John, The man that started Bonnington Mill Garage back in 2014. 

John has been a Technician since the biggening back when Honda first started to introduce their Motorbikes back in the 1970 and was part of the biggest selling Motorcycle dealership in Scotland at the time.

When they moved on to the Honda cars he Literally helped build the Chatham's Honda car Dealership at Edinburgh Abbeyhill brick by brick in 1972 and soon became a Honda Master Technician after that in the early 2000's. John had worked with the Chatham's family since the very biggening. 

When Chatham's Honda eventually closed he soon started up on his own in 2014 and with the help of Steven being an ex-Chatham service manager and good friend of 30+ years. Between them it quickly became the go to place for car repairs 

Meet Steven Glover, The man that keeps the day to day moving smoothly.

Steven has worked as a Mechanic since the 70's starting out in the fast fit garages we see today but soon moved into VW and Audi garage specializing in gearbox repairs as that is what he found most interesting. 

After a few years he started up by himself but soon had a child and realized he had to have a reliable and steady job to help support his family and found himself applying for a service manager role at Chatham's Honda Abbeyhill.

Afterall If you had Chathams on your CV you could go anywhere after that.

What started out as staying for a few years then moving on, Steven stayed with Chatham's Honda for 20+ years as he loved that no day was the same and loved the personal touch & care the dealership brought that not many others do.

After Chatham's closed Steven went off and worked for Bosch car service for a time but quickly found the ethos too cold and corporate for his liking and soon went back to his passion and soon joined John in starting Bonnington Mill Garage.

As the business picked up they found they couldn't keep up with the demand and needed some helping hands.

Meet Connor

Connor has been a Technician for over 10 years and has a wealth of knowledge of various makes & models not just the Honda Brand thanks to the garages and staff he has worked for over the years.

Connor started his a apprenticeship at 17 and as soon as he qualified went off into the world striving for knowledge and learning everything he can from every mechanic he crossed paths with to better himself as a technician.

He prides himself with a quality over quantity attitude, enjoys peculiar problems and will not rest until they are solved and explained!

Working in an independent garage and noticing Bonnington Mill Garage picking up business, his father Steven asked if he would join them and help grow the garage with new ideas and experience with other brands as more people recommend them for repairs.

Connor accepted and is now currently working on all things big and small at Bonnington Mill, he now has his EV master technician certificates  and a fully qualified Mot tester with special thanks to Dalziels Garage.
